Effective October 1, 2002, Florida Statute 553.791 allows the owner of a proposed building to use a Private Provider for building code inspections and plans review services for compliance with the Florida Building Code. The Statute allows the private provider to perform these services on the building that are covered by that person's licensure as to the structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and accessibility components of the building.
Building Inspections
Delta Engineering and Inspection will provide Certified Building Inspectors that are licensed or certified under Florida Statutes Chapters, 468, 471 or 481. Our certified staff works with the local jurisdictions as well as on-site personnel to ensure code compliance on each project. Plan Review
Delta Engineering and Inspection will provide Certified Plans Examiners licensed per Florida Statutes Chapters, 468, 471 or 481. Delta will review the plans for compliance with the Florida Building Code for the Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Disciplines. Our certified staff can work with your design professionals during design development to ensure code compliance of the finished product, thus minimizing the time between design completion and permit issuance. We will provide the following Plans Review services:
